Switch to Shopify without starting from zero.
Thrivepine is a Shopify migration agency for US online stores. We move you from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or a custom platform with every old URL redirected and your products, customers and orders carried over. After launch, we help the store grow with CRO and digital marketing.
Free migration review, a fixed quote in writing, and a reply within one business day.
We move stores to Shopify from WooCommerce, Magento and Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, PrestaShop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and custom platforms.
What every Thrivepine migration protects
Most migration problems come from six places. This is how we handle each one, whichever platform you’re leaving.
Your Google rankings
We list every URL from your sitemap, analytics and Search Console, map each one to its closest Shopify page and set permanent 301 redirects. Google says 301 redirects don’t lose PageRank. Titles, meta descriptions and page content carry over, the new sitemap is submitted, and we watch Search Console after launch.
Your store data
Products and variants, collections, customers, historical orders, gift cards, store credit, blog posts and pages. We import them in the order Shopify recommends (products, customers, then orders) so each order links to the right customer and product, then check the counts against your old store.
Your customers’ logins
Nobody has to reset a password. Shopify customer accounts sign in with an email address and a one-time code, and each customer’s order history moves with their record.
Your business systems
ERP, accounting, inventory, shipping, email and reviews. We connect the tools you already use, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, ShipStation and Klaviyo, and test each connection with real orders before launch.
Your conversion rate
Since the storefront is being rebuilt anyway, we plan navigation, product pages and the cart around how your customers buy. If organic search brings in most of your sales, we launch close to your current design and roll out conversion changes in tested steps afterwards.
Your visibility in Google and AI search
Fast pages, real text instead of text inside images, structured data that matches the page, and no robots.txt or CDN rule that blocks search crawlers, including OAI-SearchBot, the crawler ChatGPT search uses.
See how your old addresses map to Shopify
Shopify uses fixed paths such as /products/ and /collections/, so most addresses change, and each old one gets a permanent (301) redirect to its new one.

Signs it’s time to move your store
If two or more of these sound familiar, a migration review will show whether moving to Shopify pays off for you.
- Plugin or extension updates keep breaking things, and every fix needs a developer.
- You pay separately for hosting, security and someone to keep it all patched.
- Checkout is slow or awkward on a phone, and changing it is a project.
- Only one developer really understands how your store works.
- Your platform version is close to, or past, the end of its support.
How your migration runs
Your current store keeps taking orders until launch day. Most of the work happens before the switch.
-
Free migration review
A call with Shivam about your store, traffic, catalog and integrations. You get a straight answer on whether moving makes sense, then a fixed quote in writing.
-
Audit and URL map
We crawl your site, pull your top pages from analytics and Search Console, and map every URL, product field and integration before anything moves.
-
Build behind a password
Your Shopify store, theme and integrations are built and your data imported on a password-protected store while the old one keeps selling.
-
Test and launch
Test orders, refunds and emails, plus redirect checks on your most-visited pages. We launch in your quietest traffic window, then sync any orders placed during the switch.
-
Monitor and grow
After launch we watch Search Console, crawl errors and conversion rate and fix what comes up. Then, if you want, we move on to CRO and marketing.
Migration, store builds, CRO and marketing
Most clients start with a migration. The same team then builds, improves and markets the store, so nothing is lost in a handover.
Shopify migration
From any e-commerce platform to Shopify, with your SEO, data and integrations carried over and a storefront rebuilt to convert.
Shopify store builds
For new brands and fresh starts: theme setup or a custom theme, product pages written to sell, and only the apps you need.
Shopify CRO
We find where shoppers drop off, fix it and measure the result, with analytics reviews, UX fixes and A/B tests on product pages, the cart and checkout flow.
Digital marketing
Google and Meta ads, email and SMS, and SEO, reported in revenue and margin.

What we put in writing
Thrivepine is a new agency, so we don’t have public reviews yet, and we won’t make any up. Every proposal includes these four commitments instead.
A fixed price
The quote is the price. It changes only if you change the scope, and you see the new number before we do the work.
Everything in your name
Your Shopify store, theme code, data, domain and app accounts belong to you from day one, so you can work with anyone after us.
Redirects checked twice
Your most-visited pages are tested before launch, and the full redirect map is crawled again after launch.
30 days of launch support
Anything that breaks in the first 30 days after launch is fixed at no extra cost.
Founding client program
Our first 10 migration clients get founding-client pricing. In return, we ask for an honest testimonial and permission to publish the project as a case study with real numbers.
The Shopify migration checklist
This is the list we work from: URL inventory, redirect mapping, data import order, integration tests, launch-day checks and the first 30 days of monitoring. Use it to plan the move yourself or to check an agency’s proposal, including ours.
- What to export from your old platform before you change anything
- How to build a redirect map Google can follow
- The launch-day checks that catch broken checkouts and lost orders
Shopify migration questions, answered
Don’t see yours? Email hello@thrivepine.com and we’ll answer within one business day.
How much does a Shopify migration cost?
It depends on four things: how many products and variants you have, how much order and customer history you’re moving, how many systems need connecting, and whether the storefront is redesigned. After a free review of your store, we send a fixed quote in writing, so the number doesn’t move unless your scope does.
How long does a Shopify migration take?
Most of the time goes into the URL map, data checks and testing, not the switch itself. Catalog size and the number of integrations decide the timeline, so you get a dated plan together with your quote. The launch is scheduled in your lowest-traffic window.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move to Shopify?
Some movement is normal while Google recrawls a moved site; Google says it can take a few weeks for most pages of a small or medium-sized site to move over. Lasting losses usually come from missing or wrong redirects, changed content or blocked crawling. We redirect every old URL to its closest new page with a permanent 301 redirect, which Google says doesn’t lose PageRank, keep your titles and content, submit the new sitemap and monitor Search Console after launch.
Why do my URLs change when I move to Shopify?
Shopify uses fixed paths: products live under /products/, collections under /collections/, pages under /pages/ and blog posts under /blogs/. Most of your old URLs will change, so each needs a redirect. A Shopify store can hold up to 100,000 redirects, and a Shopify Plus store up to 20 million.
What data can be migrated to Shopify?
Products and variants, customers, historical orders, gift cards and store credit, blog posts and pages. Product reviews, subscriptions and loyalty points depend on the apps you use on each side, so we confirm those during the audit.
Will my customers need to reset their passwords?
No. Shopify customer accounts use an email address and a one-time code instead of a password, so there is nothing to reset. Customer records and their order history move across with the migration.
Can I keep my domain name?
Yes. You keep your domain and connect it to Shopify at launch. Keeping the same domain means only page paths change, which gives Google one less thing to reprocess.
Should we redesign the store during the migration?
Google recommends changing one thing at a time where you can. If organic search brings in most of your revenue, we launch close to like-for-like and roll out conversion changes in tested steps once rankings settle. If it doesn’t, a combined rebuild usually makes more sense. We’ll recommend one on your review call.
Will my store show up in ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers?
Nobody can guarantee that. Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode rely on the same fundamentals as regular Search, with no special markup required. We make sure your store is crawlable, fast, written in real text, carries accurate structured data, and doesn’t block AI search crawlers such as OpenAI’s OAI-SearchBot.
Do you only do migrations?
No. We also build new Shopify stores, run CRO programs for existing Shopify stores, and manage paid ads, email, SMS and SEO.
